Lakshmi Sridaran
South Aisan Americans Leading Together Director of National Policy and Advocacy
Lakshmi is Director of National Policy and Advocacy at SAALT, where she develops and directs SAALT’s legislative and public policy agenda. Previously, she was Policy Director for The Praxis Project, a national non-profit advancing health justice policies in communities of color. Lakshmi began her career as an urban planner in New Orleans. Lakshmi holds a Masters degree in City Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Ethnic Studies from The University of California, Berkeley.
