This session, led by staff of LSC's Office of Compliance and Enforcement (OCE), will concentrate the importance of OCE's ongoing oversight role, from pre-award through the entire grant cycle, concentrating on the onsite visit process. The panelists will discuss the most frequent compliance (fiscal and regulatory) issues noted during OCE onsite oversight visits and desk reviews. The panel will also explain the interaction between OCE and the Office of Inspector General, particularly as related to OIG referrals (issues most frequently referred), and the process for initiating questioned cost proceedings and the recoupment of disallowed costs.
